VORMETRA started as a small, focused team, built on real, long-standing experience in machine manufacturing and extrusion.
Founder
Istanbul-based, with many years of experience in machine manufacturing, extrusion systems, mechanical design and production. The family business Dereli Plast's plastic extrusion and machine manufacturing infrastructure, dating back to 1997, is VORMETRA's most critical engineering asset: the extruder screw and barrel can be designed and manufactured in-house — a capability most competitors have to buy in.
VORMETRA was born from the idea of combining real production experience in extrusion and machine manufacturing with large-format additive manufacturing (3D printing) technology. The goal: not a scaled-up desktop printer, but a real production tool with the rigidity and serviceability of an industrial CNC/extrusion machine.
We're currently in the engineering and product development stage; the team is small and runs directly under the founder. We're growing alongside partners and advisors working on mechanical design, control software, and slicer software. We plan to expand the team with the right skills at the right stage — seeCareers.
