Building large-format right, from the ground up.

VORMETRA is an early-stage, Turkey-based technology company developing pellet-fed industrial large-format 3D printers. Below, we share exactly where we stand and what we believe in.

Where we stand

Let's be honest: we're early.

VORMETRA is currently in the concept and detail design phase — structural FEA is complete, subsystem selections are in progress (see roadmap below). We don't yet have a production-ready product or sales figures. This page isn't about big promises — it's about being clear on our position and what we're betting on.

The Opportunity

There's an empty middle segment in this market.

Entry-mid segment ($35–65K)

Modix MAMA-1000 (1 m³, ~3 kg/h, $35K), Piocreat G12 and similar — accessible, but with limited service and local presence.

Full industrial (quote-based, $250K+)

Cincinnati BAAM, Thermwood LSAM, CEAD/Caracol — very high throughput but closed pricing and no local, on-site service in our region.

We see a gap between the two: "professional but accessible, with local service in Türkiye/the region." Market-size figures vary wildly by source, so we deliberately don't quote a made-up total-addressable-market number here — our positioning is grounded in named, real competitors instead.

Our Edge

What competitors buy in, we make in-house.

Extrusion DNA

Dereli Plast's machine manufacturing and plastic extrusion experience, dating back to 1997. The screw and barrel — the industry's most critical and expensive component — isn't a line item we buy; we make it in-house.

Service speed

While imported extruder parts wait weeks, having a family manufacturing business behind the same product line means on-site service measured in days.

Sustainability position

A system engineered from day one for granule, recycled and composite material — aligned with the industry trend and hard to copy quickly.

Roadmap

We move gate by gate.

We don't publish dates, because guessing them before scope and resources are clear would be misleading. Each phase only starts once the previous one's deliverables are complete.

Phase 0–1Documentation & requirements freeze — ✓ complete
Phase 2–3Concept & detailed design — in progress; structural FEA complete (11/11 passed), subsystem selections ongoing
Phase 4Prototype build & first motion/feed tests
Phase 5Validation — dimensional accuracy, throughput, material, reliability testing
Phase 6Pilot production, costing/pricing, first pilot customer(s)
